Fellowship-Trained Spine Surgeon Joins Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center

Colin R. Rhoads, D.O., a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, has joined Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center and is now seeing patients at the practice’s Ashtabula, Green, Medina and Solon locations. Patients seeking specialized spine care can call 800-662-4043 to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Rhoads provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions affecting the spine. After receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia, Dr. Rhoads pursued an internship in orthopaedic trauma at Atlanta Medical Center. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Following his residency, Dr. Rhoads received advanced fellowship training in orthopaedic spine surgery at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis.

Dr. Rhoads is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the North American Spine Society. He has also contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.
