Bio

Dr. Colin Rhoads is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Georgia State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation South Pointe Hospital, where he served as chief resident, followed by a spine surgery fellowship at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis.

Dr. Rhoads specializes in the evaluation and treatment of conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including degenerative disease, deformity, trauma, and complex spinal disorders. He is trained in minimally invasive, navigation-guided, and robotic-assisted surgical techniques, while emphasizing nonoperative care whenever appropriate.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Rhoads has published research in The Spine Journal and Clinical Spine Surgery, focusing on advanced spinal techniques and biomechanics.

Dr. Rhoads is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care through strong physician-patient partnerships, emphasizing clear communication and personalized treatment plans.

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Rhoads enjoys long-distance running, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his wife, their two sons, and their Labrador.
