CONNECT FROM VIRTUALLY ANYWHERE

The doctor is in…on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

Telehealth gives you the ability to connect with your Crystal Clinic doctor, physical therapist, or clinician through the use of your smart phone, computer or tablet. Just as in a conventional clinic visit, you’ll be able to have an in-depth, private consultation with your highly-qualified Crystal Clinic specialist.

Telehealth is a sensible choice during the COVID-19 crisis. Since telehealth visits are done remotely, by visiting with your Crystal Clinic specialists online instead of in person you are doing your part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the community, including yourself and your family. In addition to preventing the transmission of COVID-19, each telehealth session also helps to preserve critical personal protective equipment (PPE) for caregivers since there is no face-to-face interaction. Your Crystal Clinic specialist will still be able to review patient records and diagnostic tests, including laboratory results and imaging as he or she would in an in-person consultation.

What are the advantages? Having a telehealth appointment with your Crystal Clinic specialist has distinct advantages, especially now.

  • Social distancing during the COVID-19 crisis is supported by telehealth
  • Visit with a Crystal Clinic provider from the safety and comfort of your own home
  • Get nationally-renowned care from the same specialists you’d see at our clinics
  • Eliminate the need to drive to your appointment
  • Avoid waiting rooms

Is it effective for orthopaedic patients? Yes. More than 80-percent of orthopaedic injuries can be initially diagnosed in a telehealth visit. Telehealth is also very effective for follow up visits, physical therapy, and occupational therapy consultations.

Is telehealth effective for plastic and reconstructive patients? Yes. Because a virtual visit uses the camera on your phone or computer, most consultations with a plastic and reconstruction specialist can be conducted in a telehealth call. It’s also a convenient option for post-treatment follow up.

What if more advanced care is needed? During your Telehealth visit, your provider can determine if an in-person clinic visit will be necessary.
