Patients at the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center will receive information from their surgeon specific to their surgery. We also provide general surgery education information to help put your mind at ease regarding your procedure.
Additionally, the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center recommends that patients scheduled for total joint replacement surgery attend educational classes. A Patient Care Coordinator teaches the class. Since the coordinator acts as the liaison between the surgeon, nursing staff and social workers, they are on the inpatient units, giving patients a familiar face to see post-surgery.
Patients undergoing shoulder, hip or knee surgery can view videos at the links below explaining what they may expect before, during and after their surgery. Patients have better outcomes in recovery knowing what to expect.
