Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center Returns as Sponsor of PGA Tour Champions Event

For the fifth year in a row, Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center, a physician-owned hospital system, is a sponsor of the Kaulig Companies Championship, which will be held July 9-12 at Firestone Country Club in Akron. During the four-day championship, Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center therapists and staff will provide complimentary golf swing analysis and giveaways.

Throughout the tournament, Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center will host its popular “Chat and Chill” spectator area, located between the ninth hole and 10th green near the clubhouse. The shaded gathering space provides attendees with a place to relax while connecting with the organization’s team of physical and occupational therapists, pain management specialists and other members of the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center team.

Tournament guests will have opportunities to participate in giveaways and a hole-in-one putting contest for a chance to win a gift card to the Firestone Country Club pro shop. Golf swing analysis will be available from Richard Tomsho, PT, MPT, a Titleist Performance Institute-certified physical therapist, during all four days of the event. In addition, physical and occupational therapy brand ambassadors will be available to engage with the spectators and volunteers.

The Kaulig Companies Championship is one of five major championships on the PGA Tour Champions schedule and has become one of Northeast Ohio’s premier sporting events.
