Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center And Summit Mall Launch Walk For Wellness Program Kick-Off Event Is Friday, March 17th

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center has partnered with Summit Mall to launch the Walk for Wellness Program to encourage adults of all ages to make walking a regular part of their healthy routine. The free program kicks off on Friday, March 17 from 9-10 a.m. in Summit Mall’s Food Court, next to Crystal Clinic’s QuickCare Connection Station.
Crystal Clinic physical therapists will be there to meet with participants and offer guidance to help improve their mobility and maintain an active lifestyle. There will be giveaways and opportunities to win quarterly prizes. Walkers can register at the event or at crystalclinicwalkforwellness.eventbrite.com.
Floor decals placed along the walking route will keep participants on track as they walk their way to health. Once around the mall, including all corridors, is approximately 8/10 of a mile. Walkers are encouraged to go at their own pace, gradually increasing speed and distance as they improve their strength and stamina.
Following the kick-off, Crystal Clinic physical therapists will continue to meet with walkers on the first Friday of each month from 9-10 a.m.
