VISITOR RESTRICTION

As the population of vaccinated residents expands and the state begins to revisit its restrictions related to COVID-19, Crystal Clinic is pleased to be in a position to reinstate visitation on a limited basis.

Effective Monday, March 15, 2021, the following visitation rules are now in effect:

  • We will be permitting one designated individual per visit. There can be no changing or rotating of visitors. A Crystal Clinic supervisor must approve any special circumstances.
  • One visitor per stay for Inpatient Surgery between 10am-8pm at St. Thomas. Visitors may not leave the premises and return. A visitor may leave the patient room only to use the restroom or to retrieve food from the hospital cafeteria. Use of common areas is restricted except designated waiting areas.
  • All COVID-19 visitor practices are still required. Per CDC and Ohio Department of Health guidelines, all visitors will still be required to have symptom and temperature screening upon arrival, must wear a face covering at all times, and maintain 6-foot social distancing during their stay. Visitors may be asked to wait in their cars or some other area if social distancing is challenged in any Crystal Clinic waiting room or patient care area.

Please contact your physician’s office with additional questions.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can keep patients, guests, and employees safe.
