Surgical Locations

The Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center has two surgical locations - in Montrose and Akron. Our board-certified surgeons perform more than 12,000 orthopaedic surgeries a year.

Clinical teams are dedicated and trained in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, helping to reduce the risk of infection and a patient's length of stay. Board-certified anesthesiologists and certified, registered nurse anesthetists provide state-of-the-art anesthesia for all patients undergoing surgical procedures. The centers are accredited by The Joint Commission.

Summa St. Thomas Hospital Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center on the Summa St. Thomas Hospital campus has 12 operating rooms, including four in the Total Joint Center on the third floor, dedicated to orthopaedic surgeries for inpatient and outpatient procedures. There are 63 inpatient beds. Patients that need a hospital stay benefit from the immediate implementation of a physical therapy program, helping to accelerate your recovery time.

Surgery Center in Montrose The Surgery Center in Montrose has 10 operating rooms dedicated to orthopaedic and reconstructive surgeries for outpatient procedures. There are also pre-operative and recovery areas and a comfortable family waiting area.
