The Crystal Clinic Surgery Center specializes in orthopaedic and reconstructive/plastic surgery, including hand surgery. There are five operating rooms, pre-operative and recovery areas, and a comfortable family waiting area. The Surgery Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).
Board-certified anesthesiologists and certified, registered nurse anesthetists
(CRNAs) provide state-of-the art anesthesia for all patients undergoing
surgical procedures.
23-hour Overnight Recovery
While most patients arrive and leave on the same day, some patients
may need additional post-surgical observation. In these cases, the surgeon
may recommend that the patient spend the night in our 23-hour Overnight
Care Facility. The four-bed unit is designed to provide professional
nursing care in a home-like setting. There are two semi-private rooms,
a bathroom and shower. Personnel are well-trained to meet each patient's
post-operative needs, and the unit is equipped with all necessary emergency
equipment.
