Plastics and Reconstruction
Plastic surgeons of the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center are part of a comprehensive approach to manage your reconstructive orthopaedic conditions. They are part of a tertiary referral center that enhances orthopaedic care. Surgeons Lawrence Cervino, M.D. and Gary M. Pennington, M.D. perform the breadth of plastic and reconstructive procedures, providing treatment for both traumatic and elective conditions. They are experts in treating soft tissue defects related to orthopaedic injuries. The physicians are fellowship-trained surgeons. They work closely with fellow surgeons in the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center to ensure that patients' conditions are treated appropriately at one location. The surgeons also perform traditional plastic surgery, including reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. They can treat skin cancers, melanoma, and head and neck cancers. Training the next generation of plastic surgeons is part of the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center approach, as well. Physicians are closely associated with the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and teach graduate surgical education. The goal is convenience for the patient. The Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is a single venue for complex problems, including pre-operative evaluation, imaging, surgery, rehabilitation and follow-up. Plastic surgeons at the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center are part of that team approach. To schedule an appointment with a plastics specialist, go to Find a Physician.
